INCIDENT: PC 451(B) - Arson
LOCATION: 800 Block of Downey Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Alexis Coogan, 53-Year-Old Female, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, June 3, 2024, at approximately 3:51 a.m., deputies with the Colorado River Station / Needles Police department responded to a report of a fire near the 800 block of Downey Street in the city of Needles. Through invesigation, it was determined the fire was intentionally started, however the suspect had fled the scene.
On Monday, June 17, 2024, at approximately 2:05 p.m., deputies located the suspect, identified as Alexis Coogan, near the 200 block of G Street. Coogan was consequently arrested for PC 451.(B) - Arson, and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Coogan remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $60,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
