The 12th Annual Explorer Competition will be taking place this Friday and Saturday at Ripon High campus. Heavy police presence from agencies all over the state can be expected in the area. On Saturday, there will be a helicopter flyover around noon. The Police Explorers program is designed for youth aged 14-21 who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. This annual competition challenges Explorers with various law enforcement scenarios.
