1. Weapon Arrest (1145) West Clay Street and South Van Buren Street, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the area. The driver discarded a firearm prior to pulling over. The suspect was detained without incident. ARRESTED: Jason Smith, 33, for weapons and traffic charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1400) 1600 Block of East Bianchi Road, Valley Oak District
The male victims, 48, and a 16, were at the location to purchase property. A suspect directed them to the back of the area where three additional suspects approached. The suspects brandished a gun and demanded the victim’s property. One suspect hit the vicitm with a gun before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECTS: White male adult and three Black males, wearing dark clothing.
