* Until 1045 AM MDT.
* At 843 AM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding along drainages leading out of the northeast slopes of the Jemez Mountains toward the Rio Chama. This will impact many arroyos and low water crossings around Highway 84 between Abiquiu, Mendanales, and Chili. Rainfall has ended over the area however flooding will continue until all flood waters have made their way down from the Jemez Mountains. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Espanola, Abiquiu, Santa Clara Pueblo, Chili, Buena Vista, Medanales, Hernandez and Chamita. This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 337 and 338.
