1. Weapon Arrest (2150) Airport Way and Park Street, Park District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop near the listed area, and during a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded handgun. The driver was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Andre Alberty, 32, for weapons and traffic charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2202) 8400 Block of Yarmouth Drive, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 19, was in an argument with the known suspect when the suspect pointed a rifle at him, threatening to shoot him. The suspect was taken into custody without incident, and the gun was recovered. ARRESTED: Torrence Harris, 39, for assault with a deadly weapon and weapons charges.
3. Person Shot (0015) 4400 Block of Calandria Street, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 34, was walking in the area when five suspects approached and tried to rob him. The suspects began to hit the victim, and one of them pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Three Hispanic males and 2 Hispanic females.
4. Robbery (0349) 3200 Block of West Hammer Lane, Lakeview District
The male victim, 27, was working at an area business when the suspects entered. The suspect simulated a gun and the victim fled the area. The suspects stole property from the business and then fled. SUSPECTS: Black male and Black female, wearing dark clothing.
