***Update 11:35 AM: Fairfield Fire units with assistance from Cal Fire, Benicia, Suisun Fire Protection District, American Canyon and Napa County Fire are currently working a large vegetation fire in the area of Napa 12 and I-80. Forward progress has been stopped.

****Westbound Hwy 12 is closed to all traffic. Crews will remain on scene for several hours for cleanup operations.****

10:52 AM: Fairfield Fire Department is working a three-alarm fire in the area of Highway 12 and Red Top Road. Smoke can be seen in Cordelia. No threat to structures. No road closures at this time.

To help our residents be better prepared for emergencies, Solano County law enforcement, fire and Solano County OES - Office of Emergency Services partnered together to divide the county into pre-established evacuation zones.

Authorities will use Zone names in emergency alerts to notify residents which areas are affected.
