ALL residents and businesses to take all possible measures to reduce their water consumption during this high water demand period.
--Important Message—
Due to the extreme recent high temperatures and lack of rain, many New Jersey Water Utilities, including the City of Vineland, are experiencing very high water usage demand. In order to keep up with this high water usage demand and continue to provide the necessary water for residences, businesses, and Public Safety, we are requesting all residences and businesses to take every measure to reduce and conserve their water usage until further notice. While our Water Stations are working at peak operational levels providing over 12,592,800 gallons every 24 hours to the water distribution system, we still cannot meet the current consumption demand. We are closely monitoring water levels and usage, and are committed to ensuring that our community`s needs are met without taking mandatory water restriction actions. In order for this to occur, we need the cooperation and efforts of ALL residents and businesses to take all possible measures to reduce their water consumption during this high water demand period. Please share this information with your family and friends. Thank You for your attention to this very important information.
