* WHAT...Flash flooding as well as river and stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is becoming increasingly likely.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Wisconsin, including the following counties, in southwest Wisconsin, Crawford, Richland and Vernon. In west central Wisconsin, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe and Trempealeau.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of rainfall are expected today and Saturday. With many soils saturated and streams already running high due to abundant rain over the past several weeks, this additional rain may result in rapid rises in creeks and streams with urban flooding also possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
