Heat Advisory for this weekend / Cooling Center Information 
Please be advised that Heat Advisories remain in effect for today and Excessive Heat Watches are in effect for Saturday and Sunday. Heat index could reach or exceed 100 degrees.
Young children and infants, pregnant women, as well as older adults and those with chronic medical conditions are at higher risk of heat related illness. Please take extra precautions and see the attachment for additional heat related safety tips.
Do not leave children or pets alone in a car, even for a minute. A vehicle heats up quickly and a child’s body temperature rises faster than an adult’s. Animals are at risk for brain damage or heatstroke in just 15 minutes. If you see a child or pet left unattended in a vehicle, dial 911 immediately.
