Engage with Hoboken Police on Pedestrian Safety
As part of ongoing efforts to improve pedestrian and traffic safety in Hoboken, the Hoboken Police Department will host a pop-up Pedestrian Safety Community Engagement & Listening Session on Wednesday, June 26, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Representatives of the HPD Transportation and Traffic Unit will be on hand to discuss various issues related to pedestrian and traffic safety in Hoboken. All residents are welcome to stop by for conversations, to ask questions, and present concerns. Feedback gathered at this event will help the HPD plan for future public safety improvement initiatives.
The pop-up tent will be on the northeast corner of Washington and Third Streets.
Join Hoboken Public Safety for CAPS July 16
The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Public Safety Department will host the next CAPS meeting on Tuesday, July16, 2024 at Metropolis, 96 River St., from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
CAPS, or Community And Public Safety, is a way for members of the public to meet and engage with local public safety officials. Representatives of Hoboken Police, Hoboken Fire, Hoboken Office of Emergency Management, Hoboken EMS and Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Hoboken Health Division will be on hand for presentations, conversations, and a question-and-answer session.
Light refreshments will be served.
Reusable Water Bottle Drive for the Hoboken Shelter
The Hoboken Office of Constituent Services will host a Reusable Water Bottle Drive to benefit the Hoboken Shelter.
Residents can donate new or lightly used and clean water bottles from June 24 through July 15. A drop box will be set up in Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
