Additional, multiple rounds of heavy rain will occur tonight into Saturday. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are likely. However, localized amounts of 5 to 8 inches are also possible. The threat for flash flooding will be dependent on where bands of heavier rainfall overlap.  The trends Friday afternoon suggest this area could be along or near the Minnesota-Iowa state line and into southwest Wisconsin.

In addition, a few strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and again Saturday. Damaging winds and heavy rain are the primary threats. 

If you have outdoor plans be sure to remain up to date with the latest forecast! Be careful near low water crossings or areas prone to flood. Mudslides could occur and lower areas will likely flood.
