SUMMARY: On Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11:24 a.m., deputies and medical personnel responded to Golden Oak Park in Rancho Cucamonga regarding a female who was having a medical emergency. Deputies arrived and located the victim lying on the ground and she was not breathing.
During the investigation, deputies determined the victim was visiting the park when she suffered from an unknown medical condition and fell to the ground. Deputies and medical personnel provided medical treatment and transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department - Coroner's Division was notified and assumed the investigation.
