The City of Menlo Park was notified that a number of customers are currently without power. PG&E reported that a substation breaker in Belle Haven tripped. Crews are onsite and working to get power back to everyone as soon as possible.
Tips to remember during a power outage:
- Treat all intersections as a 4-way stop when the traffic lights are out
- Keep freezers and refrigerators closed to protect food
- Turn off or disconnect appliances, equipment or electronics
- Use alternate plans for refrigerating medicines such as coolers
