Flood Warning until 09:45AM Saturday

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Minnesota, including the following counties, Jackson, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone and Rock and South Dakota, including the following counties, Lake, Minnehaha and Moody.

* WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1104 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 6 and 10 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sioux Falls, Worthington, Madison, Luverne, Pipestone, Brandon, Hartford, Flandreau, Fulda, Crooks, Adrian, Edgerton, Garretson, Wall Lake, Baltic, Valley Springs, Colton, Hills, Jasper and Colman. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
