Congratulations to Deputy U.B. Smith for graduating the 80 hour D.A.R.E. Officer Training School that was held June 9^th-21^st at Sand Creek Elementary School in Fishers, Indiana.  This two week class prepares Deputy Smith to teach Gibson County Fifth Graders good decision making skills and prepare them to help lead safe and healthy lives.  Deputy Smith will be taking over DARE responsibilities from Deputy Jennifer Loesch who has transitioned to a fulltime detective with the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.
