Flood Warning until 12:45PM Monday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. This replaces the earlier Flood Warning

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Minnesota, including the following counties, Nobles and Rock and southeast South Dakota, including the following county, Minnehaha.

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations continues.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 946 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding continues from earlier heavy rain. Between 3 and 10 inches of rain had fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sioux Falls, Worthington, Luverne, Brandon, Hartford, Crooks, Adrian, Garretson, Wall Lake, Baltic, Valley Springs, Colton, Hills, Humboldt, Brewster, Ellsworth, Leota, Round Lake, Rushmore and Wilmont. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
