Two attempts to steal vehicles on Lorraine Rd and Sherman Ave 
(8PM, Sunday, June 23) - Summit Police Department has received two reports of attempted motor vehicle thefts within the past hour on Lorraine Road and Sherman Avenue. The suspect is believed to be a dark-skinned male wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and a mask and gloves. The suspect’s vehicle has been identified as a white Honda CRV with NJ license plate S46RDN. Call 911 if seen. Do not approach.
