There is a slight chance for thunderstorms and heavy rain tomorrow evening, but strong capping in the atmosphere means most areas will stay dry. Another 1 to 2 inches of rain may fall with any thunderstorms that develop, with the best chance for this happening across northeast Minnesota & northwest Wisconsin. More widespread rain continues to look possible Thursday night into Friday. The forecast rainfall amounts with this system will be captured in the river forecasts that are issued Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
