Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Nicollet and Blue Earth Counties. Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Brown, Nicollet and Blue Earth Counties. Minnesota River at Savage affecting Carver, Scott, Hennepin and Dakota Counties. Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Le Sueur, Sibley and Scott Counties. Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott Counties. Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties. South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County. There is a slight chance for thunderstorms and heavy rain tomorrow evening, but strong capping in the atmosphere means most areas will stay dry. Another 1 to 2 inches of rain may fall with any thunderstorms that develop, with the best chance for this happening across northeast Minnesota & northwest Wisconsin. More widespread rain continues to look possible Thursday night into Friday. The forecast rainfall amounts with this system will be captured in the river forecasts that are issued Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
