Dear Residents,
Milestone Contractors, in conjunction with the City of East Chicago, will begin the process of milling and resurfacing the roadway on,
Melville Ave. from 151st Street to Chicago Ave
Milestone plans to restrict both sides of the roadway on Melville Ave. from 151st Street to Chicago Ave starting on Wednesday June 26^th, 2024 as part of the milling phase of this project. At this time we kindly ask that you observe all posted No Parking Signs and park your vehicles in driveways or adjacent side streets during normal construction hours (6am-7pm Monday-Friday). 
Starting on July 2^nd Milestone will begin paving the roadway on Melville Ave. from 151st Street to Chicago Ave. We also kindly ask at this time that you observe all posted No Parking Signs and park your vehicles in driveways or adjacent side streets during normal construction hours (6am-7pm Monday-Friday). Parking will be allowed on the street Thursday July 4^th, 2024 in the event work has not yet been completed.
