Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with multiple burglary incidents following investigation:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with multiple burglary incidents following an investigation.
On June 13, at approximately 2:37 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 300 block of South Franklin Street, in reference to a burglary incident. On June 14, at approximately 9:35 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 300 block of South Franklin Street, in reference to a burglary incident. These cases were assigned to Detective Jessica Gledhill of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of her investigation, Detective Gledhill identified 28-year-old Christopher Williams as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On June 18, members of the Uniformed Services Division took Williams into custody without incident in the 200 block of South Harrison Street.
Williams has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree) – Two Counts
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000 – Two Counts
