INCIDENT: P.C. 245(A)(1)- Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 300 block of Bazoobuth Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Tashina Jenkins, 28 Years Old, Resident of Bullhead City, AZ
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, June 24, 2024, at approximately 9:12 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff's Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 300 block of Bazoobuth Street, reference an assault.
During the investigation, it was determined the suspect, Tashina Jenkins, attempted to hit the victim with her vehicle, striking the fence on the property, during an altercation. The victim was able to jump back and avoid being struck by the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene in her vehicle.
Tashina Jenkins was contacted a short time later at a nearby residence and was arrested without incident. Jenkins was positively identified at the scene. Jenkins was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on $40,000.00 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
