Deputies Arrest a Nevada Man Who Threatened Protestors with a Knife in Victorville
DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 23, 2024/ 12:32 P.M.
INCIDENT: P.C. 245(A)(1)- Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: Bear Valley Road/ I-15 Fwy, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Lance Jaeger, 56-year-old Resident of Amargosa Valley, NV
SUMMARY: On Sunday, January 23, 2024, at approximately 12:32 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Bear Valley Road and I-15 Freeway North for a man with a large knife that was attempting to take down a “Free Palestine” flag from a fence.
Suspect, Lance Jaeger, removed a large, fixed blade knife from a sheath and began to cut one of the flags. Jaeger walked around multiple bystanders while holding the knife in his hand. Upon deputy arrival, Jaeger was standing in the road pointing the knife at several of the protestors on the sidewalk and threatening them.
Lance Jaeger was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 245(A)(1)- Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
