* AFFECTED AREA...White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon River, Fortymile Country, Tanana Flats, Two Rivers, Fairbanks Metro Area and Central Interior.
* TIMING...From 10 AM to 10 PM AKDT Thursday.
* LIGHTNING ACTIVITY LEVEL...4.
* WINDS...Southeast 5 to 15 mph.
* HUMIDITY...As low as 24 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the mid 70s in the mountains and in upper 80s in the valleys.
* IMPACTS...Frequent lightning can promote new fire starts. Hot and dry conditions may lead to rapid spread of fires.
