Boil Water Advisory Remains in Effect
The Boil Water Advisory still remains in effect for Butler Water customers. You are advised to boil water before drinking, cooking and other potable water uses until further notice. This is a precautionary measure mandated by the NJ DEP. It is still safe to shower, wash clothes, etc.
Normal Treatment Plant operations resumed Monday night but we are awaiting review of data and sample testing results from the NJ DEP before the advisory can be lifted. We are hoping the advisory will be lifted within 24-48 hours.
Further details will be posted at www.butlerborough.com once we receive further direction from the NJ DEP.
