TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced for Halsey Street - North to Shore Night Market 
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that the following streets will be closed during the below designated hours due to the Halsey Street North to Shore Night Market.
Beginning from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024
- Halsey Street between Washington Place and New Street
- Bleeker Street between Washington Street and Halsey Street
The event begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. and will feature live performances, face painting, a photo booth, and more.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Fragé thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal activity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
