TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced for International Pride Month - North to Shore Block Party
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that the following streets will be closed during the below designated hours due to the International Price Month – North to Shore Block Party.
Beginning from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2024
Halsey Street between Raymond Boulevard and Bank Street
Academy Street between Broad Street and Washington Street
The event begins at 12 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Fragé thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal activity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
