Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation in the circumstances surrounding a Pomona Police Department Officer-Involved Shooting of a male adult in the city of Pomona.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Pomona Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of Holt Avenue in the city of Pomona regarding a man with a gun call.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the suspect matching the description. As the officers attempted to detain the suspect, the male adult suspect fled from them on foot. Additional units responded and officers followed the suspect in their vehicles to the 400 block of Hamilton Boulevard. The suspect produced a firearm and an Officer-Involved Shooting occurred. The incident occurred at approximately 12:07 a.m.
A firearm was recovered at the scene.
No officers were injured.
There are no outstanding suspects.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are assisting Pomona Police Department with the investigation into the circumstances surrounding an officer-involved shooting. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at approximately 11:57 p.m., at the intersection of N. Hamilton Blvd. and W. Center St., in the city of Pomona. At this time, there is no information as to what led up to the OIS.
The suspect was transported via ambulance to Pomona Valley Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
