Strong to severe thunderstorms possible later this afternoon into the evening 
The North Brunswick Office of Emergency Management advises residents that scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon into the evening. The main risk for the storms is between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Heavy downpours with rates of 1+" per hour and wind gusts up to 40 - 50 mph are possible within the storms. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is expected within any storm.
