Union City, CA – Case #240626002 – On June 26th, 2024, around 12:50 A.M., Union City Police Department officers responded to Century Theaters at 32100 Union Landing Blvd, for a just occurred shooting that occurred in one of the theaters.
Responding officers cleared the theater complex of all threats and evacuated the facility. One adult male victim was located inside one of the theaters. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There was a disturbance inside the theater between several patrons prior to the shooting. During the dispute, the suspect fired a handgun. There were no additional reported injuries or victims. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
