NWS Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hoboken
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Hudson County, including Hoboken.
There is a risk for severe thunderstorms from this evening into tonight. Hoboken could experience heavy rain and high winds of up to 40 to 50 miles per hour.
Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, resulting in power outages. Stay away from downed wires. Please report power outages and downed wires to PSEG at https://nj.myaccount.pseg.com/myservicepublic/outagepublic.
Residents are asked to secure loose objects outside or bring them inside, especially from balconies. Travel could be difficult especially for high profile vehicles.
