* At 816 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Greenwood Lake to near East Hanover to Edison, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near... The Verrazano Narrows Bridge and Bay Ridge around 840 PM EDT. Coney Island and Midtown Manhattan around 845 PM EDT. Flatbush and Mott Haven around 850 PM EDT. Yonkers and East Tremont around 855 PM EDT. Flushing and Throgs Neck Bridge around 900 PM EDT. Jamaica and New Rochelle around 905 PM EDT.
