Good Morning, In an attempt to keep everyone informed of upcoming events in town. We have two events coming up next week. The 4th of July Parade and the Ocean Gate 5K. Below is the information on the 4th of July. 

On the morning of July 4th (7:00am), We kindly ask all residents and visitors to move their vehicles from Ocean Gate Ave, located between E. Arverne and E. Bayview. Additionally, we request that vehicles parked on the street along E. Bayview Ave refrain from crossing the white fog line and entering the lane of travel. This precaution is essential to maintain a clear and unobstructed parade route.

Starting at around 9am, the intersections of East Arverne and E. Cape May, as well as W. Arverne and W. Cape May, will be closed between Ocean Gate Ave and Asbury Ave. To facilitate parade staging, we recommend motorists utilize Louis Ave as an alternate route to bypass the closures.

Furthermore, at 9:15am, Ocean Gate Ave between W. Barnegat and E. Cape May will be closed to facilitate parade setup and staging. By 10am, all roads along the parade route will be closed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Attached is a photo of the parade route.
