Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
Beginning in June, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 800 block of Kirkwood Street. On June 25, at approximately 10:41 a.m., police executed a search warrant in that block and took 35-year-old William Taylor into custody without incident. Police recovered 1 gram of crack cocaine, 13.9 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Taylor has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Two Counts
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $12,000 secured bail.
