Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting deaths of two Male Adults.
At approximately 5:54 p.m., on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Lancaster Sheriff Station deputies responded to the 800 Block of E Avenue J-12, Lancaster, regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered two male Black adults suffering from gunshot wounds on the 800 Block of E Avenue J-12. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victims to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased. Shortly after the original call for service, Lancaster Station deputies received additional calls regarding multiple gunshot victims arriving to the emergency room at a nearby hospital.
At this point in time, we have identified an additional 5 victims who suffered gunshot wounds and who are in stable condition; Bringing the total victim count to 7, which includes the two victims who are deceased. All victims appeared to be at the same location when the shooting first occurred.
Homicide Detectives have learned this shooting is gang related and are currently gathering more information on any suspects and continuing to work the scene. There is no further information available, and the investigation is ongoing.
