In response to a potential unconfirmed threat of someone possibly carrying or shooting a rifle on Dietz St, we swiftly mobilized to ensure public safety. The increased response with our partnering agencies was out of an abundance of caution for our residents. Following a thorough investigation, it was determined that the perceived threat stemmed from juveniles playing with a BB gun in a yard. Fortunately, the situation was resolved without incident, and no arrests were made at this time. This incident underscores the diligence of law enforcement in responding to perceived threats while highlighting the importance of thorough assessment before drawing conclusions in potentially tense situations.
