Special Weather Statement until 06:15PM

At 543 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm outflow along a line extending from 9 miles south of Conchas to near Yeso. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Fort Sumner, House, Montoya, Yeso, Newkirk, Taiban, Sumner Lake State Park, Cuervo, and Sumner Lake. This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 89 and 105.
