At 714 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Sedan to near Ute Lake State Park. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Amistad, Nara Visa, Logan, San Jon, Ute Lake State Park, and Bard.

* AFFECTED AREAS: UNION COUNTY ... HARDING COUNTY ... QUAY COUNTY ... CURRY COUNTY

Instructions:

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy building. Heavy rains will cause water to pond on roads and in low spots. Fast running water will quickly fill arroyos and ditches.
