Three Individuals Arrested as a Result of a Search Warrant Served in Needles

DATE/TIME: June 26, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m.

INCIDENT: Search Warrant

LOCATION: 1000 block of Lillyhill Dr., Needles, CA

SUSPECT(S): Michael Hood, 48 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
Juan Hernandez, 26 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
Johanna Baumgartner, 22 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA

VICTIM(S): State of California


SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at approximately 8:32 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department served a search warrant near the 1000 block of Lillyhill Drive in Needles, CA. During the service of the search warrant, deputies located suspected methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, ammunition and stolen property. As a result, three individuals were detained and arrested.

Michael Hood was arrested for PC 496(A) - Possession of Stolen Property and H&S 11366.6 - Operating a Drug House. Hood was transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $30,000.00. Hood remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, awaiting a court hearing.

Juan Hernandez was arrested for H&S 11366.6 - Operating a Drug House and an outstanding warrant for H&S 11350 - Possession of a Controlled Stubstance and PC 148(A)(1) - Obstructing a Police Officer. Hernandez was transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a combined bail amount of $40,000.00. Hernandez remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, awaiting a court hearing.

Johanna Baumgartner was arrested for H&S 11366.6 - Operating a Drug House. Baumgartner was transported and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $30,000.00.  Baumgartner remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, awaiting a court hearing.
