Activity for June 27, 2024:
- Officer Simon took a report of a vehicle stolen from the 200 block of Jackson St.
- Officer Mills investigated a felonious assault in the 1200 block of S. Milwaukee St.
- Sergeant Grove and Officer Johnson assisted City Inspection in the 200 block of Orange St.
- Officer Johnson was dispatched to the 500 block of Lansing Ave. for a domestic assault between a 57-year old female and her 33-year-old daughter.
- In the area of MLK Jr. Dr. and High St., Sergeant Burkart contacted several vehicles involved in a traffic crash. While investigating, several subjects connected to the crash began assaulting each other. An 18-year-old female was arrested for assaulting a police officer, assault & battery, and disorderly conduct. Disorderly conduct charges will be sought on a 22-year-old female.
- Officers were sent to the area of Leroy St. and Seymour Ave. for a domestic situation between a 24-year-old male and an 18-year-old female.
- Officer Jones arrested a 26-year-old female on outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants in the area of First S. and Wilkins St.
- Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop in the area of West Ave. and Franklin St. He ultimately arrested the 46-year-old male driver for OUID.
