On June 28th, 2024, at approximately 1:00 AM, Arroyo Grande Police Department officers responded to an Armed Robbery of the 7-Eleven store located at 701 S. Elm St. The store employee reported that 3 male subjects entered the business wearing masks and pointed a gun at them. The three suspects held the employee at gunpoint and demanded money before fleeing the area prior to the officers’ arrival. The amount of money taken is being withheld as part of the investigation. Officers were able to obtain video from the store and are attempting to identify the suspects at this time.
Officers later learned that the male suspects had also threatened the clerk before leaving the business. The suspects were last seen running from the business on The Pike towards Lancaster Dr. This investigation is ongoing, and we are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to contact the Arroyo Grande Police Department Detective Unit at 805-473-5110 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-549-STOP to remain anonymous.
