INCIDENT: H&S 11378 - Possession of a Controlled Susbtance for Sales
LOCATION: California Street and Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA.
SUSPECT(S): Patricia Viveros-Vargas, 43-year-old resident of Bloomington
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, June 28, 2024, at about 9:43 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for being in violation of CVC 4000(a)(1) - Ungregistered Vehicle, at California St. / Barton Rd. The passenger, Patricia Viveros-Vargas, who was confirmed by California ID, displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled nervous system stimulant. During a search of Viveros' purse, incident to arrest, she was found to be in possession of approximately 219 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a functioning scale, and U.S. currency dominiations consistent with possessing a controlled substance for sales.
Viveros-Vargas was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center without incident.
