At 614 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mindenmines, or near Pittsburg, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pittsburg, Prairie State Park, Lamar, Frontenac, Jasper, Liberal, Purcell, Chicopee, Nashville, Mindenmines, Carytown, Asbury, Neck City, Lamar Heights, Waco, Irwin, Oakton, Beulah, Opolis, and Yale. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 51 and 75.
