The jail has 8 main housing units for the detainees/inmates.
192 detainees/inmates are housed in one housing unit. Below is the breakdown of temperatures as of 9:40 am today.
Chilled water temps leaving the chillers - 45 degrees, Chiller #1 and 44.9 degrees, Chiller #2
Housing Units 1 & 2 range from 79 degrees to 81 degrees
Housing Units 3 & 4 range from 75 degrees to 78 degrees
Housing Units 5 & 6 range from 76 to 77 degrees,
Housing Units 7 & 8 range from 77 to 78 degrees
All other areas are approximately 74 degrees.
The target temperature is 72 degrees.
The Facility Maintenance and Management Services are contracted by the Board of Commissioners and are provided by CGL Facility Management, LLC.
The CGL team is currently on site and has been actively working throughout the night to bring temperatures down to a comfortable level.
