Fireworks in the Park, Wednesday 7/3
Join your neighbors and community members as we celebrate Independence Day. Festivities start at 6:00 pm with face painting, kid games, music and food vendors at Donaldson Park. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:15 pm, Raindate is Sunday, July 7.
Outdoor Movie Theater, Saturday 7/6 and Saturday 7/20
Join Main Street Highland Park on Saturday nights at 9:00 pm at the Municipal Lot on Raritan Avenue between 2nd & 3rd Avenues for the outdoor movie series. Up next: “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” (7/6) and “The Neverending Story” (7/20).
Classic Car Shows in Highland Park this summer – Thursday 7/11 and Thursday 8/22
The Borough of Highland Park, in conjunction with local business sponsors, welcomes car enthusiasts from near and far to attend the town’s two Classic Car shows this summer on Thursday, July 11 and Thursday, August 22. Both events will run 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Parkstock Music Festival, Thursday, 7/18 and 7/25
Highland Park’s popular outdoor concert series is back on Thursday nights at Donaldson Park, Grove 1, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm starting in mid July. Select food vendors will be there to sell food to accompany the music. Check out the lineup below:

Free Groceries from H.P. Gives a Hoot, Tuesday 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30 and Wednesday 7/10, 7/17, 7/24 7/31
Highland Park Gives a Hoot offers free groceries to Highland Park families in need of support. Distributions are every Tuesday & Wednesday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Zone 6/Teen Center, 600 Benner Street.
Food Pantry Distribution, Thursday 7/11, 7/25 & Saturday 7/13, 7/27

Highland Park Recreation Programs
Highland Park Recreation offers a variety of adult, youth and summer camp programs. Families that qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible for a 60% discount on all programs offered by the Borough.
