High temperatures expected all week - Take Precaution - Cooling places in Richmond available.

High temperatures expected all week in Richmond and across the Bay Area. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Heat Advisory (yellow area of map) and Extreme Heat Warning (pink area of map) from Tuesday 7/2 until Saturday 7/6. Hottest days will be Tuesday and Wednesday.

Two cooling places will be available in Richmond:

  • County EHSD Building
    • 1305 MacDonald Ave.
    • Opening from 8am - 5pm
  • Nevin Park Resilience Hub
    • 589 Nevin Ave.
    • Openign from 11am - 5pm
