Activity for July 1, 2024:
- Officer Kuhn responded to the 900 block of Whitney Street for a larceny from vehicle.
- Officer Bean arrested a 37-year-old male on a parole violation.
- Officer Simon took a report of a stolen vehicle from the 100 block of Wesley Street.
- Officer Panther was in the 300 block of Morrell and hear a female yelling for help. He saw several subjects involved in an altercation in front of a residence. A 32-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault, a 30-year-old male was arrested for Resisting & Obstructing and several outstanding warrants, and a 36-year-old female was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. All were lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
- Officer Goble was sent to the 100 block of Shahan for a personal welfare check, and ultimately arrested a 40-year-old female on an outstanding felony warrant from Blackman Township.
- Officers were dispatched to Moorman Drive for a stabbing. A 21-year-old male stabbed a 41-year-old male regarding a dispute. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. The suspect was arrested for felonious assault.
- Sergeant Burkart conducted a traffic stop near Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive and Washington Avenue. Officer Soloman conducted an OWI investigation and arrested the 27-year-old driver. PBT was 0.12.
