Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who stole a wallet from a parked vehicle on June 24, 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. in the 70 block of Ferry Street when the suspect was captured on surveillance video entering the victim’s parked vehicle. When the car’s owner returned, she saw that her vehicle had been ransacked and her wallet was missing. After the theft, the victim’s credit and debit cards were used at a fast food restaurant and a deli.
