Contractor hit main waterline in Coots Trail, causing water to be off in area. Boil water advisory in effect. 
A contractor working in the Ravenswood Subdivision has hit a main waterline on Coots Trail. Pender County Utilities has a representative onsite and has shut off the water to Coots Trail, including Jerome Court and Patton Lane. Crews are en route, and repairs will be made as soon as possible. After repairs, this area will be under a precautionary boil water advisory until the lab receives the sample results. Approximately 25 customers will be without water until repairs are completed.
