Vegetation Fire 
Fairfield Fire is working a first-alarm vegetation fire behind the 500 block of Union Ave. The fire is under control. A blown transformer caused the fire, as a result, 3400 residents are without power, mostly in central Fairfield. PG&E estimates the power will be restored by 7 pm tonight.
