INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 25000 block of Barton Road, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Lonnie Hall, 45-year-old male resident of Compton
Keira Brown, 18-year-old female resident of Loma Linda
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, July 1, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 25000 block of Barton Road reference an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies arrived and learned the victim and suspects argued about a parking spot. During the argument, the suspects assaulted the victim, displayed a firearm, and fled in a maroon Kia Optima. Through investigation, deputies quickly positively identified the suspects as Lonnie Hall and Keira Brown.
Shortly after the incident, deputies saw the Kia Optima traveling in Loma Linda and conducted a felony traffic stop. Three subjects were detained and one of the subjects in the vehicle was Brown. Deputies received information Hall was at a residence in Loma Linda. Central Station detectives and deputies surrounded the residence and called Hall in an attempt to have him surrender peacefully. Hall refused to exit the home. After a brief standoff, Hall exited the home and was arrested. A search warrant was served at the home and evidence to the crime was located.
Hall and Brown were booked at the Central Detention Center for PC 245(A)(1) Assault with a Deadly Weapon and PC 182 Conspiracy.
